BXB Services de Balisage Inc. works in all kind of structure representing a danger for air traffic, like radio and television broadcasting and telecommunication towers, power transmission pylons, industrial chimneys, skyscraper and wind turbines. We are looking for new dynamic candidates who are ready to take on new professional challenges.
Main functions
- Beaconing systems installation, inspection and repair
- Solar panel installation
- Towers construction, including ground preparation
- Radios, antennas and cables installation (telecommunication)
- Work with tools and lifting devices
- Work with frequency testing and scanning devices
Requirements
- Lineman training (asset)
- Fall protection and rope rescue training (real asset)
- Valid driver’s license issue by SAAQ and good driving record
- Winter driving experience (asset)
- Boat driver’s license (asset)
- VTT and snowmobile driving experience (asset)
- Spoken and written French and English
- Electricity, electronics, telecommunication or related field training or knowledge are real assets.
Skills description
- Comfortable working at heights and be in good physical shape (structures up to 1000 feet and more)
- Able to lift properly heavy loads and to use lifting equipment
- Able to distinguish colors
- Able to work on variable weather conditions
- Autonomous, resourceful and teamwork oriented
- Available to work on steady or variable schedule and on all work shift possible
- Thoroughness, perseverance, patience and safety are essential
